The Humble Dip Co was founded by me, Jake, in 2017.

For years houmous had been my go-to snack as I loved the taste as well as how convenient it was. In a nutshell it's healthy and needs zero preparation.

​

However, after years of this ritual I thought it was time to give the chickpeas a break and create something new.

​

​

Having been a chef for 15 year my career had always involved food and I was aware of the health benefits and versatility associated with beans. The perfect substitute for chickpeas I soon realized!

​

So, equipped with a magimix and a head full of ideas I began experimenting with different bean dip recipes.

​

​

I had my fair share of disasters and quickly realized that often what sounds good does not always taste good! However, after persevering and making many adjustments, not to mention ongoing tastings with friends and family, I had created my first three flavours.
